About me

Hello! and welcome to Franklin High School! I am SUPER excited about teaching you this year!

A little about me.....My name is Arlisa Hrncir. I teach Digital Graphics, Principles of Art, A/V Technology, & Communications and Journalism/Yearbook. I am also the Yearbook Advisor for Franklin ISD. I am a 1989 graduate of Franklin High School and 1994 graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Art in Journalism/Graphic Design. I worked in the private sector for 13 years, most recently as the manager of a creative team at Texas A&M University. But I left all of that for a better life...to TEACH!  I believe that my experiences and travels help me to be a better teacher and give you some insight into the "real world".

I am married to the love of my life, Jeff and have two wonderful children one of which is a junior at Texas A&M (Whoop!) working towards his degree in Wildlife Biology. He also recently got engaged to the love of his life. We are getting a daughter! The other graduated from University of Texas in Austin (Hook 'Em), and currently work for Austin Regional Clinic providing tech support for all the clinics in the area. #housedivided

My dogs - Boy Dog & Tippy - are my other children and just the most adorable pups in the whole world! My husband and I are very involved in the community. We enjoy hunting and fishing and spending time with family and friends.

I look forward to having you in my class. It's going to be a fun and exciting year!
