My name is Mrs. Tart and I am the Health Science Teacher at Franklin High School. I am also the school Nurse and have my Bachelor's degree in Nursing from UT Tyler. I have a background in Labor and Delivery, NICU, Home Health, Pediatrics, Wound Care and School Nursing. I always knew I wanted to be a School Nurse and love every minute of it and all ages. I am a proud wife and mom to three boys and I enjoy spending time outdoors and enjoy all seasons of the year for a little while. I am currently teaching two subjects this year Medical Terminology and Principles of Health Science. In the future we hope we can add certifications to the program. I am blessed to be able to introduce students to all the different careers available for them to explore in the Health Science Field and teach them the universal language of medical terminology. My goal is always to help students find their passion and provide a clear pathway and direction into how to attain their goal of becoming a healthcare professional.
