Career & Technical Education
Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs of study present courses that are designed to provide students with authentic learning experiences through coherent and rigorous content. The CTE curriculum aligns with demanding academic standards and encompasses pertinent technical knowledge and skills that are essential for readiness in higher education and careers within existing and emerging professions.
College & Career Readiness
Our College and Career Readiness (CCR) Advisor, is available for students to seek advice in regards to postsecondary planning, assist with college applications, applying for scholarships, revise college essays, inform students about different colleges, and assist with military recruitment.
Counseling Services
High school counselors play a vital role in supporting students' academic, career, and social-emotional development. They provide guidance, resources, and support to help students navigate the challenges of high school and prepare for life after graduation. Their work extends beyond academic advising, encompassing personal and social well-being, as well as career exploration and college preparation.
Library Resources
Our mission is to provide a friendly, welcoming place for students, teachers and staff to effectively and freely pursue current and diverse library resources in a variety of formats. The library is a place where patrons have the opportunity to successfully access, evaluate, and use literature, information and technology to support student achievement, to meet the FISD’s curricular goals and objectives, and to foster a life-long love of reading.
Health Services/School Nurse Information
Our school nurses are essential in promoting a healthy learning environment by providing direct care, managing chronic conditions, and coordinating health services. They act as a bridge between healthcare and education, ensuring students are healthy, safe, and ready to learn.
Tip Line
FISD Tip Line reporting is a system for use by students, parents, staff, and community members to anonymously report bullying, drugs, threats, and suspicious, dangerous, or criminal activity on district property.
